Good News
GhostBSD 1.5 Beta is there.
On this beta we have the backend of PC-BSD installer But not configure to install GhostBSD
We add Cups and Compiz but we have not test if cups work.
compiz is part of the system but Whit xorg config that not gonna work. But when we gonna have thy installer done.
GhostBSD gonna be ready to use compiz.
I have try to make the live cd mount device but I have some issue to make it work.
Please if you find bug or idea or solution to are problem

Hi everyone at GhostBSD, this is a project i’m looking forward to completion. I really love the idea somebody is finally creating a GNOME based FreeBSD for the desktop. Wish you all good luck with the installer! I have just downloaded and been running GhostBSD in a virtual machine for the past hour, and its very nice. (also love the default theme).

to get a look and feel at this awesome os.
One thing I can say: The team have a life to live and I lose contact with the guy working the installer. I Make A choice and i go PC-BSD backend like it was my Idea 3 mount a go. Now i start working the front end by myself.
why is not ready the installer? what’s going on with the development of this distro?…
