GhostBSD 11.0 ALPHA1 is ready!

This alpha release is ready for testing and to be use in production there will be no need to reinstall other development release of GhostBSD 11.0 since the update manger will push update of GhostBSD. All MATE and XFCE image are available with i386 and amd64 architectures.

New feature

• Latest Nvidia drivers installed by default
• Whisker Menu as default Application menu of XFCE

Issue that got fixed

• XFCE .xinitrc missing
• XFCE walpaper
• XFCE theme engine missing
• ZFS configuration file setting
• Fix XFCE sound plugin

Writing the iso to a USB stick

On BSD

dd if=GhostBSD11.0-ALPHA1-20170128-185144-mate-i386.iso of=/dev/da0 bs=1m

On Linux

dd if=GhostBSD11.0-ALPHA1-20170128-185144-mate-i386.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=1M

On Mac

dd if=GhostBSD11.0-ALPHA1-20170128-185144-mate-i386.iso of=/dev/disk2 bs=10240
