Add the following to the ServerLayout section of /etc/X11/xorg.conf: Option "AllowEmptyInput" "off" This forces X to use the keyboard and mouse sections of xorg.conf. The mouse should now work.

I grabbed Gnome 64 bits ISO of GhostBSD 3.0. Installation went well, using all defaults settings, telling the installer to add bsd bootloader. Files were copied, and then, I got an installation error. I reported problem on the forum : http://forums.ghostbsd.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=2#p2 Installation log is in the post. My VM had : 2 Gb of Ram, 128 Gb of HDD.Just try to install gnome amd64 version in virtualbox, using FreeBSD 64 bits VM template, 2 Gb of ram and 128 Gb of HDD. Installation using all defaults, adding bsd bootloader, and configuring options to get a french system.

The error messages flash by too quickly to see, but seem to refer to write errors on md0.Create a new VM under VMware Fusion Version 4.1.0 (529802) running on Mac OS X 10.7.5. Select the ISO as the boot disk. Select FreeBSD as the operating system. Accept all the defaults.

This is a freebsd-ufs type partition. Gnome starts fine from the flash drive, but the installer stops complaining about unknown partition p6. Does GhostBSD require BSD partioning?Attempt install to hard drive.

Mouse arrow is present on the text screen (so strange). I booth the DVD on live and safe too: same error
