In 2024, your generosity brought in $16,231.71 CAD through Patreon and PayPal. This marks a notable improvement of $3,821.53 CAD over 2023’s total of $12,410.18 CAD, showing the community’s growing commitment. However, we set an ambitious goal of $25,000 CAD for the year and fell short, leaving a deficit of $8,768.29 CAD. This shortfall reflects the challenge of scaling our resources to match our aspirations, but your increased support from last year gives us momentum.
These funds have been vital. They’ve kept our web servers operational, powered our package-building infrastructure, and supported ongoing development efforts. Without your contributions, GhostBSD couldn’t maintain its pace or its promise.
Looking to 2025, we’re raising the bar with a new goal of $27,000 CAD. This target will enhance our infrastructure to build GhostBSD, build packages, and distribute it more effectively. We’re counting on your continued backing to close the gap and turn our shared vision into reality.
